Northern Chautauqua Amateur Radio Club MEETING MINUTES
MAY 11, 2007.

WB7SWW, KC2MUY, K2TAL, KC2AUS, N2MQ, N2PCN, Shirley Marker, and KC2GON.

President Al Lee, WB7SWW, called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Secretary's Report:
Minutes from the April Meeting were read, with one correction noted. Motion to accept the minutes was made by Herb, N2PCN, seconded by Paul, KC2MUY. Motion carried.

Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer reported all bills are paid.

Al, WB7SWW reported a copy of the club's insurance, had been received and marked paid to June 2008.

Al, WB7SWW, is trying to schedule a meeting/training session with RACES and will contact members with additional information, when it becomes available. He also advised there will be a MS Walk May 20th in Dunkirk, with registration beginning at 9:00 am, and the walk at 10:00 am. All interested in participating, contact Al. Al reminded all present, of the NCARC weekly Tuesday Night Net, held on the 146.625 repeater at 7:30 p.m. The ARES Net is held the first Tuesday Night of each month, 8:00 p.m., on the 146.625 repeater, with check-ins also being taken on the 146.94, 146.88 and 146.47 repeaters. A sign up sheet for Net Control Operators was passed around for the NCARC 7:30 net - more operators are needed.

Al advised all repeaters in county are working.
Field Day: It was decided among the members present, the club would not hold field day activities this year, due to lack of interest.

Old Business: None

New Business
: Terry, K2TAL reported there were 18 testing at the Ham-In-A-Day session held Saturday, April 21, 2007. Seventeen were successful.
Motion was made by Herb, N2PCN seconded by Paul, KC2MUY, to cancel the June Meeting, due to lack of interest. After a short discussion, motion carried.
A motion to adjourn meeting at 7:45 pm, was made by Jerry, KC2AUS and seconded by Herb, N2PCN - motion carried. Refreshments followed.
